Foggy Bottom

Conceived as an open and whimsical escape from the suburbs, this project required our team to completely gut the existing interior and rebuild the third floor of a small house. The space was transformed into a modern retreat using glass and steel, bamboo flooring, lacquered hi-gloss and laminate cabinetry. Our award-winning build featured clear glass panels in all three floors to allow light from the roof skylight to descend all three levels of the home. On a bright day, light can travel from roof to basement, and on dark days, the glass panels can be lit with LED lights from within. Design by KUBE Architecture.
