This flat-fronted 1912 Renaissance Revival town house in D.C. is an exploration of pared-back modernism. Designed for a mother and two teenage daughters, the minimal spaces in this home feel anything but empty with thoughtful design and furnishings that build on the minimal design. The dining room acts as the heart of the home where the family can gather to work, eat and play. The backyard features a small pool and green wall to capture light and provide a green space in the bustle of the city. The end result is a home that feels sophisticated, warm, and unified.
